How It Works

Rehab Smarter provides live services using our secure HIPAA compliant video conferencing platform.  Most clients will already have everything they need.  Vision or hearing deficits? Contact us to ensure an optimal experience. 

All you need is:

  • desktop or laptop computer, tablet, or smartphone.  Both Windows or Mac are fine.
  • An internet connection of at least 15Mbps download / 5Mbps upload time.  (Most connections will be fine.  Not sure? Check here and click “Begin” to test your device).   
  • An internal or external microphone. Most devices have one built-in nowadays. (Need one? Check this list for some top inexpensive options).
  • An internal or external camera. Most will have a built-in camera. (If not, here is a list of great, inexpensive web cameras).

To begin:

  • Email or phone us when you are ready to begin sessions.
  • Once scheduled, you will receive an email to join our HIPAA compliant portal to fill out the necessary forms.
  • Before your session, we will email you the link to access your session.
  • Simply go to Client Access and follow the steps.

If you need help just call us and we can help you.

Please note: This is a prepaid fee for service. We will not bill your insurance company.  Many but not all insurance companies are covering telehealth services but you need to check first.  If desired, we can provide you with an electronic company of the bill to submit to your insurance company.
