Christina M. McCormick, OTR/L in New York received her Bachelors of Science degree in Sociology from SUNY Oswego in 1996 as well as a Bachelors of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Keuka College in 2002. She gained initial experience in geriatric rehab and pediatric therapy. Christina has extensive experience working with children from ages 0 to 5 years. Her experience ranges from feeding issues, sensory processing, developmental disabilities including autism, down syndrome, and cerebral palsy. She has a wide range of experience educating parents in treatment techniques including self- regulation and developmental stages.
Christina also spent two years working within the home care setting. Within this capacity she worked with individuals recently discharged from the hospital assisting them to achieve independence within their home as well as suggesting necessary home modifications and equipment. Since 2012 Christina has been an Occupational Therapist in several skilled nursing facilities in Upstate New York and spends much of her time evaluating and treating short and long term residents within 12 skilled nursing facilities. Christina enjoys being active with her husband and three children. Her hobbies include sewing and cooking.
